I graduated high shool from Velma-Alma High School in 1982. Upon graduation I attended East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.

• Bachelor's of Elementary Education from East Central University with a concentration in science.
• Oklahoma Teacher's Certification in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education.

I married my husband, Kenny Bare, in 1985.  We have three children -- Katie Bare Pogue (Velma), Alexandra Bare  Crafton (New Orleans), and Dallas Bare (Velma). Kenny and I are lucky to be PaPa and BeBe to five grandchildren – Dawson, Kellan, and Evelyn (Katie), Wesley (Alex), and Bodhi (Dallas). 

I love to read, drink coffee, watch movies, and spend time with my family.

If I’m not home, you can find me at Lake Texoma or in New Orleans!
