My first year of teaching at Velma-Alma Elementary was the 1999-2000 School year.

I began teaching in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1993.

I tought one year atg Ben Milam Elementary in Wichita Falls, Texas.

My family moved to Loco, Ok and I began teaching at Fox Public Schools in 1994.

I taught at Fox for 5 years before taking a position at Velma-Alma Elementary.

I married Kent Harman in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1986.

We have two grown children, Kyle and Kayla.  They both graduated from Velma-Alma High School and now have degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma.

We have an outside cat named Preston and a horse named Star.
